@ sn99 This is usually the reason the ISO is not writing properly to the USB media and not syncing before extracting.
We are researching these boot images before releasing them and I have just tested this tool again.

Could you please check if the checksum is correct and write the photo back to the USB stick?

but if i changeI have the command while running Ubuntu, everything will be fine:

  sudo mount /media/USER/UUI/casper/filesystem.squashfs fs-uui Squashfs -t -o loop 

• The image that actually caused the error can be viewed here.
• To display the startup error message, remove the splash and therefore quiet options in the shoes and boots command.
• The md5 sums are good.

If you have instructions on how to debug and / or create a professional bootable ISO with efi, please post.

EDIT 1:Currently, a workaround might be to remove xattrs from the root filesystem using the -no-xattrs parameter:

  mksquashfs and "$ filesystem_location / filesystem.squashfs" -ef ./exclude.txt -wildcards -no-xattrs

Some smokers report that they cannot have sneakers on Ubuntu LiveCD due to SquashFS errors like this:

Reasons As Solutions

These errors can have different causes:

• bad storage units (solution: use memtest86 + to test your memory)
• bad DVD compilation (solution: try another CD / DVD drive if possible)
• Bad Data TV (solution: replace it with creative one)
• bad media (solution: try burning ISO image to a new disk)
• corrupted ISO footprint (solution: run md5 and if they don’t match again, download the ISO)

Temporary Workarounds

Some users reported that adding ide = nodma, also known as acpi = off, allowed them to fix this problem (which turned out to be faulty memory modules). You can try to start

Pasting all_generic_ide into the Grub for Live CD boot line was successful.

You can add these lines to the current Grub entry either in the grub.conf file or by entering and changing the letter ‘e’ in the Grub menu when you run Ctrl + x:

 all_generic_ide pci = confname 

 ide = nodma acpi = off
