• Close Windows 3.1 and create an MS-DOS floppy disk.

   windows smartdrv.exe :

   CD tools mtsutil fat32ebd

   fat32ebd.exe

   NOTE. Where is the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
   NOTE: Smartdrv.exe is not considered necessary to create a Windows 98 boot disk. Used only to speed up the creation of this boot volume.

3. Follow the instructions to create on your hard drive.
