I decided to update some BIOS using the To xp boot floppy to see if I could I
find the problem but I had no problem with the road. Like
you say the autoexec and config files are empty. I even tested the file
msdos.sys and did not find anything there that could cause problems.
Although I could not figure out what the problem might be, I had all files deleted
except those that you need to run the sneakers (since msdos. Was
empty, sys also lost) then flashed, I would say the BIOS again. Here is
the contents that you see on the floppy which I chose for Asus BIOS firmware:

Everything worked for me, but it worked fine, before that I deleted all additional files
