The Disconnected Drive Is No Longer Used det Assembled

    I unmounted the drive with:
ubuntu file system driver not installed

    sudo umount -l / media / 1f55644c-e48e-348d-ab3e-38b4ab5d9eaf

I just can’t get the drive to help you build when I go to Locations and select the drive which this task usually mounts on the desktop and instead I get the following error:

    Mount error: mount: / dev / sda2 is already mounted or maybe / media / 1f55644c -e48e-348d- ab3e- 38b4ab5d9eaf is busy

Disk Utility shows writing, but when I click the Mount Volume button, I get the following error message:

An error occurred while expanding the volume
An error occurred while executing a task in the “500gb file system” (multiple ATA WDC WD5000AAKS-40TMA0 partitions): the auto-owner of the file system is not set
ubuntu file system driver not installed

    Details
Mount error: mount: / dev / sda2 previously mounted or / media / 1f55644c-e48e-348d-ab3e-38b4ab5d9eaf is busy

This is a specific HFS + drive, but I just need to climb onto it to copy some files. The operating system of the computer is corrupted, so I am running the useful livecd 10.04 LST.

How can I make a disconnected disk completely empty and therefore have success?Should I remount the drive or unlock all privileges so I can save the files to a new USB drive?

Re: Unmounted Disk Will Not Be Rebuilt

You can try running it and see if the device is configured for some reason: I’m not sure if it will work, but it might be worth trying:

Re: Unmounted Disk Will Not Be Rebuilt

Thanks for our quick reply, which pulled my hair out tonight to try and fix the problem. This is what I get when I try these two commands:

    ubuntu @ ubuntu: ~ $ mount -l
on on vs type on (rw)
not in / proc shape proc on (rw, noexec, nosuid, nodev)
no / sys special sysfs type on (rw, noexec, nosuid, nodev)

Is there a way to frequently reboot Ubuntu without losing all the settings I had on the Live CD before exiting (for example, remote desktop and these network connections)? I’m at home now, and the computer is probably an hour away in the best empty building.

Re: Unmounted Disk Will Not Be Rebuilt

If it boots from a suitable Live CD, there really is no way to reboot the operating system so that it can change all the settings you need.

    What did you earnIs it?

Re: Not Installed, Does Not Require Reassembly

    ubuntu @ ubuntu: ~ $ sudo fdisk -l

HM. It is recommended to have a list to get from sda.

  • sdb the same size you are trying to get data from?

Re: Unmounted Disk Will Not Be Rebuilt

Yes, both drives are 500GB, I think it shows the external USB drive I connected for backup, but not the internal one The drive to copy now.

Re: Unmounted Disk Will Not Be Rebuilt

Yes. He does not see everyone’s internal reader.

I suspect sdb1 is an external control as it is marked as “Backup”

Your best bet is to shut down each system and then restart it and see if Ubuntu can find all the drives.

Re: Unmounted Disk Will Not Be Rebuilt

    I was afraid of him.

If I have the system tonight, I won’t be ready to use the model again until I can physically get used to it at 10am and remove the CD. I was hoping I could save the data tonight and prepare this method for our production department in the morning.

When I can access the bottom of my computer, how can I mount this drive with full rights to immediately back up data?

Re: Unmounted Disk Is Not Needed Is Reassembled

You can probably mount it outside of the root shell and copy the datatype this way.

    I use rsync for backups:

    Code:

rsync is the target of artificial intelligence

Just with the only problem that you have to manage it as root to copy the exact permissions / owner / group.

You can just deliver sudo To -s, get a root shell, and continue from there.

ubuntu file system driver not installed

    Good luck in the market.

     rsync -ai target source
