Since an upstream DSL connection is undoubtedly taking a very long time, I would like to use my
sip phones on iLBC to connect to my *. Only my gateway provider
authorizes the ulaw. So I would like to use the following configuration:
“We could not finally find the path to transfer the translation from the ilbc codec to the ulaw”
I’ve been searching Google for availability for over an hour. But not much money. So I would really appreciate any help!

Oliver, which gateway provider are you talking about? can’t connect your SIP phone
directly to 6. as shown in the diagram?
DSL providers must not use the codec!

Is codec_ilbc loaded in the textbox *?
You usually get this type because of errors when the codec is actually supported

Of course. Using phones and phones that make these items use iLBC, I could definitely make calls from one phone to another. The gateway never supports the iLBC

First, do one “Translation View” on Xbox Asterisk to make sure
Asterisk is definitely not considered a translation assistant. If you do not support this, you will see “-” instead ofabout numbers in stream and in line
for ilbc.
Debians and possibly other binaries, distributions seem to only support ilbc in pass-through in general, because there are “non-free” issues with the
codec, among other things. I think there is no doubt that there is a patent or a chain associated with this.
I think you can earn your asterisk for solving this problem, and
actually I asked the same question a while ago and I seem to remember it
(but I’m not sure) who- that pointed me to a pre-compiled version in someone else’s Debian repository that contained a transcoding of
ilbc stuff.
