I’m using Firefox 83.0 on Ubuntu 20.04. The browser won’t play videos on Twitter, Reddit, or Netflix. I installed Chrome and it contains all the videos. So there should be no problem with the operating system.

Firefox does not play compressed videos with proprietary video codecs like H.264 without external support. I think in Linux Firefox is looking for nFFmpeg package for installation in the operating system. Can you find your package manager there?
