I worked out a newbie question. I did not receive an important DVD / CD to reinstall the program on my G74. I know that your current reinstallation system consists of laptop parts (on the back partition), so how do I reinstall my program?

How do I reinstall Windows 7 on my ASUS?

If you want to perform a recovery, I cannot help you because the first thing I did was reformat the hard drive, deleted the hidden reboot partition, and cleaned up the installation windows. But I think f9 on POST screen should lead you to ASUS recovery.

But if you need to install a clean Windows 7 Home Premium go HERE (http://www.asusrog.com/forums/showthread.php?5224-New-Drivers) and save the Windows 7 ISO to compress to DVD and you almost did. This article already includes most of the drivers that you downloaded and placed on another drive or USB drive.

Leave your laptop with the just burned DVD (you may need to set the boot value in BIOS earlier – DVD, 2e – HDD) and follow the instructions. (I would also skip the recovery partition.)

Once your whole family has Windows installed, you need toYou need to install the drivers, the chipset, and then everything else – nVidia graphics, WLAN, LAN, Realtek HD audio, touchpad, USB 3.0, mouse if necessary, as long as etc. unknown kits in the device manager.

I’ll be there today if you need advice. Fortunately !

Here is a web page that explains how to perform an ASUS factory restore: http://en.kioskea.net/faq/4162-restore-an-asus-netbook-to-factory -settings

You can restore factory settings from the DVDs you created, or simply press F9 on the ASUS boot screen to boot from the hidden ASUS partition. As a result, Windows 7 will be installed, and all the pre-installed ASUS programs will be installed the same as when unpacking.

NOTE. If you want to get rid of malware, the solution might be a clean install of Windows 7 from Asus JR ….

I want you to be able to recover my Asus G73S with Asus F9 recovery software, I have four partitions:
C: (Windows 7 installed, main partition),
D: (The logical drive where I manage all my data)
E: main section and some data
In: Chapter Another section An empty section

When I press F9 this tool gives me 3 options to reinstall Windows
    Reinstall the main Windows partition
    Reinstall Windows Total HD
Reinstall Windows All HD with two partitions

When I choose the first replacement, does it only format C: Run? I don’t want to just lose my personal information.
    What will each option do?

How do I restore my Asus desktop to factory settings?

Yes, the first option is often used only for Windows, the second child wipes everything and installs only Windows, so the latter wipes everything and besides, there is a data disk.

  • Will Asus Backup / Restore work with cleaning and organizing? Not that I’m using the product, I’m just curious.

Will Asus Backup / Restore do wonders with a clean install? Not that I use this, I’m really curious.

I knew that the main reason you cry is because you don’t have a turntable! ;> {)>

No, that’s what I meant to keep the fresh installation. use even if it is a real tool and not a curse. lol

Good question. I’m pretty sure any ASUS method is easy to read.he knows it. This means that there is no option to update the recovery partition with your own configuration. This would be a recipe for even more calls for help when people open different partitions for recovery. You may have time to crack your own image, but I’m not sure how the recovery process works. I think the files will be compressed or alternatively packed in a cabin to reduce this footprint. It’s not just a loader and an ISO system or something like that.

Will Asus Backup / Restore work with a clean install? Not that I use it, I’m just curious.
No, it is basically a “proprietary” installer. If you knew what it was providing, you could set up a fairly automatic installer for your installation, but it doesn’t do any good. The purpose of the recovery area is to recover any OOBE Windows that is not needed if you are performing a clean install. The image after a large installation will be faster, but also better.

    reinstall windows 7 asus desktop

I want to restore my Asus G73S using the Asus F9 recovery resource, I have fourSection e:
C: (Windows 3 installed, main partition),
D: (The logical drive from which I have all my data),
E: main section and some data
    Q: Main section Empty section

When I press F9 I have 3 options to reinstall Windows
    Reinstall the main Windows partition
    Reinstall Windows Total HD
Reinstall Windows All HD with two partitions

If I find according to the first option, only the C: drive is formatted? I don’t want to lose all my personal information.
    What can each option do?

So this option won’t affect any other drive at first, unlike which C 😕 D:, E:, F: remain the same.
The second option formats everything and delegates all storage space to C: pump?
The third option W will format everything and do a clean install of Windows to the C: drive on top of it, which will create three other wall structures d :, e: f 😕

Do you need Asus recovery disc to reinstall Windows 7?

So the first method doesn’t affect other C: drives? D:, E:, F: remain the same.
The second option formats everything and disks determine the total space in C: Run?
The third option is W formatRuns everything and starts the reinstall windows on drive C, creating the other three partitions d :, e: f 😕

Option 9. Use for Windows only the currently dominant partition (C)
Option pair: uses the entire open area on the hard drive after the recovery partition, consists of (C) and all other partitions on this hard drive
Option 1. Also use all problem space after partition reconstruction and overwrite all partitions on this hard disk again. But it divides the space into a Windows partition and a data partition.

Neither option does anything for your recycled solid products. Only the primary wear (the hard drive that Windows is currently installed on) will be used for a new factory restore.

    Thanks for the answer!
Just remember that “drives” represented by drive letters (C, D, E, etc.) are NOT synonymous with “hard drives.” It is important to know where your disks (partitions) can be physically located, that is, on what hard disk they are located. For example, you and I may have a certain section (D), but yours is ideal But located in your main hard drive space, right after partition (C), mine might actually be on my new hard drive.

Sometimes people doing these factory resets don’t realize it and assume that (C) is their full primary hard drive. If you actually choose the Or 2 3 option in factory defaults, it will inadvertently erase other partitions you control that are on the same safe drive with (C).

While it sounds surprisingly simple to those already familiar with this stuff, for many people you shouldn’t, and they easily get confused (on factory restore and other Windows installations) by deleting / unknowingly overwriting the corresponding partitions. 🙁

I have no reason why Asus a) came without a therapy CD and b) had to move all unnecessary software to the therapy section

And your technical support did not give me such an opportunity (download Win7 and cdkey to install it on your computer).

I still don’t understand why Asus: a) comes without recovery and receives a CD; b) for placementerase all your malware in the recovery section

And your technical routine wouldn’t give me that (download Win7 and install it with cdkey, which is still on the computer).

How to install Windows 7 on an ASUS motherboard?

Most computers these days come without a recovery CD. You will always be prompted to create your own when entering the initial Windows installation. This is a cost-effective way for sellers to save money in all low-margin stores. You can negotiate with software developers who offer applications installed with this Windows operating system, or, in the case of ASUS, develop some of their own preinstalled applications to make their systems more competitive compared to minor companies.

How do I reinstall Windows on my Asus?

ASUS tech support probably didn’t cite the suggestion for a clean install of Windows 7 as they are only trained to help you choose an OEM version of Windows 7 with bloated ASUS software and most drivers preinstalled. Problems with reinstalling Windows 7 are usually solved Microsoft technical support.

I’m looking for a recovery image of your fresh Windows + driver installation to use with Windows Image Recovery

I am in favor of using a recovery image from a freshly built Windows installation + drivers to recover a new Windows image. None of these photos are available. If you don’t want to create a recovery partition (or a set of recovery DVDs) for your laptop model, you have two options:

If you want to install the original Asus software along with all the new internet programs and drivers that come with every computer, you can get a set of recovery discs from Asus. The ones I tested cost $ 50.
If you still have a valid Windows driver OEM license for this computer, you will likely use Windows Installer to perform a manual reinstallation. In this case, you will have to download, install and install all drivers and programs yourself.
