FDU Vancouver Students Volunteer To Cleanse The Vancouver Coast
For the third consecutive year users Faculty and staff from the Fairleigh Dickinson University Vancouver campus returned to their local communities by participating in the 2009 TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, the world’s second largest environmental cleanup. Like any other type of university based on the concept of interconnected global education, FDU teaches students the value of global citizenship in order to analyze how they can and in general are influenced by the world. Fdu-vancouver partnered with a local Rotary Club in Yaltown to create the Cleanup 2009 CommunityThe team cleared the False Creek and Science World coastlines in Vancouver near the Athletic Village for the 2010 Winter Olympics. How It All Began
