  • If you buy this bug, you’ve probably already tried installing VirtualBox on the latest macOS. You will even run into this error during the installation course or when setting up your first virtual machine message:

virtualbox kernel driver not installed mavericks

If you want to set up a meaningful Windows, Linux or Mac virtual machine, you will see an error message as this is your first time installing Oracle products (like VirtualBox) on your Ultimate Mac. You must give the associated software explicit permission to access the computer. Unfortunately, you have to look at the command line.

First, to navigate through System Preferences by clicking the Apple icon in our top menu bar and then selecting the System Preferences button. From there click on the “Security & Privacy” option.

Under the General tab at the bottom, you should see the text “Developer System Software” Oracle America, Inc. “hung at boot”. Click the “Authorize” button.

Note. This option will only show for about 30 minutes after you reinstall VirtualBox. If you do not see this message, delete by opening virtualbox, opening the Applications directory, and then dragging the VirtualBox software into the trash can. Delete any leftover files, reinstall a fresh copy of VirtualBox, and immediately open the Security & Privacy menu to see this option.

The installation is now productively complete. Congratulations on your new live installation of VirtualBox!

Kernel In The Fast Mavericks Operating System

Hi, today I ventured out a little adventure, besides the installation, I downloadedOS 10.9 Mavericks, perfect after updating my VirtualBox which supports 4.3 and now my virtual laptops have stopped working … I got the real message:
“Kernerl player not installed (rc = -1908)
Since I need to work on these machines, I am planning to create a new virtual machine, but the error message has not changed.

Topic: Kernel Error Related To The Mavericks Operating System

Not the same problem. The OP encountered a specific tool error when starting the virtual machine because user rights were enhanced by installing an operating system update.

You see exactly one kernel error that occurs when you forcefully restart the host after trying to shutdown the virtual machine and you haven’t actually updated your operating system. Have you analyzed the vb log file to see if it contains any information that could help tell what is going on?

update … strange, very strange, but … tried it – I really need to delete the VM, then I added the permission with Disk Utility …
then and restarted, I had the same problem, when my wife and I try to “turn off the practice machine” … right now I’m just trying a “state of memory” that seems to help you work …

    I am using 2 Windows Server R2 2008 … there are 2 problems:

virtualbox kernel driver not installed mavericks

1- After restarting my Mac, I need to reinstall VB to get power … even run DiskUtility to fixhave some permissions on my hard drive.
2- Sometimes learning on virtual machines, which they usually shut down on their own and go into memory state (I think this is a single with the Maveriks Nap application)

I have installed a virtual machine with Win Hosting 2008 R2, brand new, after installing it I will check on Mavericks if they have the same problem … Something strange, I can assume that this machine will not have problems work done.

VB has been removed with a tool. Select “Security” to allow applications from anywhere. Reinstalled. I have not received a message that Kernal was not signed at this time. In the meantime, it works! It makes sense, but since it worked for the first time, despite the installation warning, I didn’t think it was your problem.
