Recently, some of our users have encountered a known error message regarding issues with the Windows 2008 print server. This issue can occur for a variety of reasons. We will talk about this below. g.To troubleshoot a real print server: If you get a specific Windows error while printing, see Windows Help. Try printing from a different computer. If successful, then the problem is with your computer configuration and not with the print server. Turn the text server off and on again.

For some time I have been trying to figure out the nature of the problem. I have added a printer and you can easily manage and share it.

All permissions are displayed correctly, not running. When I try to help you add a printer, access is denied from the real client side.

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone who contributed ideas. Thanks a lot for your permission. I

decided today to get rid of all common photo printers and create new ones. I suspect the problem was with the drivers I was trying to install. After testing, it now seems to perform a little better.

How are you trying to insert the printer? This is through someone’s helper, if this is the case and with a successful attempt to add by name, try IP.

then try double clicking the printer to check if it is there.

Jay, I’ll tie it to the second method mentioned by the owners. Works on other servers, almost all of them are there.

Not that? It is just as easy to set up a printer for 2009 and then distribute it. Use the wizard for # Keyword #, find the name in the directory. Or try using a network card and then add TCP / IP over IP.

Firewalls, AV, or anything else that might interfere with your connection? If so, try temporarily bypassing to see ifwhether one of them got away.

I have been using Win 2008R2 as svr prin in some key locations for 18-18 months now. If this happened to students when they switched from Win 2003R2 to Win 2008R2, you will see the print server – these were the permissions in the spooler manager (C: Windows System32 spool). Make sure your specific user group, or anyone else if you like, has view and execute permissions. Also check if your printer has 32-bit car owners and 64-bit drivers installed.

If that probably didn’t work, then another thing I had to do on the larger campus was to download the updates section from Microsoft listserv for Win 2008R2 – http://support.microsoft.com/ kb / 982728 unfortunately , fix There is still an MSU file and it is almost nonexistent in WSUS’wusa server netlogon PrinterScripts Windows6.1-KB982728-x86.msu / quiet / norestart’
To get the fixes, you need to login to the above system … but the nature of the system is automatic, you will receive a download email in a few minutes.

this is a big problem for the pilot. I had several problems with VISTA clients on current Windows 2008R2 server.

    * When you make sure you have installed 32 bit driver and 64 bit club.

    * You must add the printer to someone with administrator privileges on the 2008 computer

    * If you want to add printers for general users in Vista or ’08, make sure UAC is turned off. This was very helpful for my premises.
