How are you trying to insert the printer? This is through someone’s helper, if this is the case and with a successful attempt to add by name, try IP.

Not that? It is just as easy to set up a printer for 2009 and then distribute it. Use the wizard for # Keyword #, find the name in the directory. Or try using a network card and then add TCP / IP over IP.

I have been using Win 2008R2 as svr prin in some key locations for 18-18 months now. If this happened to students when they switched from Win 2003R2 to Win 2008R2, you will see the print server – these were the permissions in the spooler manager (C: Windows System32 spool). Make sure your specific user group, or anyone else if you like, has view and execute permissions. Also check if your printer has 32-bit car owners and 64-bit drivers installed.

this is a big problem for the pilot. I had several problems with VISTA clients on current Windows 2008R2 server.
* When you make sure you have installed 32 bit driver and 64 bit club.
* You must add the printer to someone with administrator privileges on the 2008 computer
