g.There are two common errors typical of Seagate 7200.11 hard drives (caused by firmware errors): – LBA error: This happens when your company’s BIOS can recognize your hard drive on POST, but as a 0 MB drive. – BSY error: Occurs when your hard drive enters the off state or B u SY state. In this state, your real hard drive will not be recognized by the BIOS during POST.
Please note: This post may not be for everyone. HD is not hard to kill unless you follow the instructions with extreme care. I am NOT responsible for any damage that may result in data loss (no one has lost anything yet, but unfortunately, accidents can happen).
There are two common errors (caused by firmware errors) on Seagate 7200.11 hard drives:
– 0 LBA error: Occurs when the BIOS can recognize the hard drive during POST, but as a 0 MB drive.
– BSY error: If your company’s hard drive goes into shutdown or BuSY state. In this state, your hard drive will not be recognized by the BIOS during POST.
There is an issue that can cause Seagate hard drives to fail immediately after being turned on. Once this condition occurs, most drives cannot be normalized without Seagate intervention. Data that the disk will and will remain unchanged will become available after normal operation is restored. This is usually caused by a firmware issue related to a specific manufacturing process.
This is a state This was caused by a serious firmware issue that put the drive’s fault log in an invalid location, making the drive inaccessible.
A Firmware Incident, which is the Event Log Cycle Load End Limit (320), was not set correctly. When the log event is initialized, the boundary condition that would normally determine the end of the log event is offset by one. If the event log counter is at input 330 or a multiple (320 + x * 256) during startup and if a specific message pattern (depending on the type of tester used during the production test process) was present through the reserved area the system monitors if the file system the reserved area of the disk was undoubtedly collected during production, the firmware will grow as the event log pointer moves beyond the creation portion of the event log data. This error is detected and affects the “confirmation failure” that triggers the disk lock.because you are just doing a safe action. For a drive to be affected by this issue, the firmware must contain the issue and go through a specific build process.
Seagate has implemented containment measures to ensure that all production trials record the same gentle filling process. This change is an integral part of the verification process. All hard drives manufactured on January 12, 2009 and later are affected by this issue as these items have gone through a corrected overhaul process.
Seagate Clients It is highly recommended that you update the firmware of all affected drives to the latest version in advance. Any other similar adapter will work, just switch to + 3.3V DC (+ 5V will also work, but I recommend 3.0-3.3V). You can also find USB to TTL adapters that use USB to RS232 internally and then read to TTL. For example, some people have used a PC cellular data cable (many use RS232 to TTL).

To get LBA 0 error, you need to do a quick format to regenerate a partition that only has m0,2,2, and the rest can be left blank if desired by putting single ones commas or by adding zeros. After all, you should use the “ValidKey” code along the way, or just 22.
Warning: the commands used must be 100% identical to those presented here, incorrect command commands can lead to data loss and / or possible loss of hard disk! Double or double check your cmd before hitting Enter!

Fix BSY or CC errors, also called BUSY.
First of all, make sure you are not at home; on a table with free access to the player is best.
Secondly, you wellremove the printed circuit board (PCB) from the HDA housing using a mini Torx 6 screwdriver.
Third, connect the RX and TX cables of your RS-232 adapter, make sure everything is probably correct, then connect our power supply to the standard hard drive board.
Explanation: The problem with driving is that the drive might get stuck in a BUSY state. This basically blocks the SATA port which is important for the BIOS issue (cannot detect this particular drive on POST). You can see this sorting by mistake in the port (LED: 000000CC FAddr: 0024A051). As soon as you see this in the terminal, your travel session will be completely blocked and orders will no longer be accepted. To work around this issue, we need to make sure that you separate the PCB from the hard drive enclosure so that most of the LEDs sold: 000000CC FAddr: 0024A051 cannot be sent to the terminal session firmware.
After connecting power to the signal board, press CTRL + Z in the HyperTerminal session. You should now see a new prompt like this:

And now the most difficult thing in a person. Exercise a lot to gain strength before you even try. You have to make sure the screws don’t touch the whole PCB where they won’t be trusted, otherwise you will fry the board. If you’ve been exercising for a while and the power isn’t just plugged in, start with STEP ONE.

If you haven’t received all of the above messages, then you have missed something important, and shutting down your hard drive will result in an unreadable burst of messages, so be careful.
